Jack Black and Jason Momoa star in A Minecraft Movie, the first-ever live-action adaptation of the world’s best-selling video game. Directed by Jared Hess and produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, the film follows four misfit teens who are pulled into the Overworld—a blocky, imaginative realm where survival hinges on creativity.
To find their way home, they must team up with legendary builder Steve (played by Black), battle Piglins and Zombies, and rediscover their individual strengths. Their journey becomes one of self-discovery, resilience, and craft.
A Minecraft Movie (Songs from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) includes original tracks from the film, such as Jack Black’s ‘Steve’s Lava Chicken’ and the Mark Ronson/Andrew Wyatt/Black collaboration ‘I Feel Alive’. The release also features two additional original songs, selections from the score, and bonus tracks including ‘Welcome to Steve’s!’ and extended cuts of fan favourites.
