Michael Caine stars in this British spy thriller directed by Don Siegel. When intelligence agent John Tarrant (Caine) learns that his son has been kidnapped he realises that one or more of his colleagues are involved. In order to free his son Tarrant goes along with the ransom demands as he waits for the opportune moment to reveal the identity of the perpetrators and rescue his son.
