Dreamy and narcotic or rather driving and soaring, Standup ’69 throws you anywhere between rush and energy. The Dutch trio consists of Emmy Kadee (vocals, guitar, synths), Willem-Pieter Zoutendijk (guitar, vocals) and Bruno Vogel (drums, vocals) and creates Indie-Rock with hints to Pop, Shoegaze and Noise, that sounds atmospherical, catchy and psychedelic. Think of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, PJ Harvey, QOTSA and DZ Deathrays. The band makes a big impression on thelive front, having played 100+ shows in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.
