Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren in this supernatural horror sequel. In 1980s Connecticut, the husband-and-wife paranormal investigators come to the aid of Arne Cheyenne Johnson (Ruairi OConnor), a young man accused of murdering his landlord who claims to have been possessed by a demonic spirit. Believing the Johnson family was cursed by a witch, the Warrens are tested to their limits as they set out to prove their supernatural theory while attempting to convince the court of Arnes innocence.
