In The Crunch Prime Minister Goddard (Harry Andrews) battles to avoid a major disaster after a maniacal dictator plants a nuclear bomb in a London embassy. In Ladies Night the disgruntled members of a traditional gentlemans club are outraged when they hear the owners are planning to open their doors to women one night a week. Finally, in Gentry a young couple get caught up in a criminal scheme when the house they are viewing is overrun by a gang of crooks looking for the cash they stashed there years earlier.
