Before they perfected their signature sound, Scottish blues-rockers Nazareth experimented with a variety of musical styles – country, folk rock, beautiful ballads and orchestrated epics. This, the band’s sophomore effort, ‘Exercises’, is pretty far removed from their later releases, containing acoustic arrangements and orchestral strings.
