The Misfits are founded in 1977 by Glenn Danzig. They were hitting the stages the first couple of years with their hardcore punk. Later on they changed their style to the heavy metal and punk rock. Consistent during the years is the influences from horror and sci-fi films, which can be seen by the clothing they wear, the visuals in the live shows and in the lyric they write. “Famous Monsters” is the fifth studio album. It is the second in the post-Danzig era of the band, and the last album to feature Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, Michale Graves, and Dr. Chud, who would all quit the band in 2000. The song “Scream!” was turned into a music video directed by George A. Romero. In addition, the band appeared in Romeros film Bruiser. “Kong at the Gates” was the theme music for WCW alumnus Vampiro. The song “Descending Angel” was re-recorded and released as a single in 2013, with Jerry Only on lead vocals. 1. Kong At the Gates 2. The Forbidden Zone 3. Lost In Space 4. Dust To Dust 5.
