Description:

Originating from Kilkenny, Grace has garnered a devoted following of 3.2 million TikTok fans, all captivated by his evocative songwriting and captivating melodies. ‘Reasons’ is a prime example of his thoughtful artistry, with acoustic instrumentation and impeccable harmonies allowing his vocal prowess and reflective lyrics to take center stage. Delving into the inspiration behind the track, Robert Grace said: “This is probably the most personal song Ive ever written. There was a point in my life where I really believed my family would be better off without me in their lives. I felt like a complete burden. Like there was no reason for me to stick around. Obviously, I couldnt have been more wrong… I’ve got millions of ‘Reasons’ to be here and that’s what this song is all about.” Robert’s debut album Happy Sad Songs is scheduled for release on May 24th via Columbia Records Germany. A culmination of his raw talent and profound storytelling, this album promises to be a musical journey like no other, offering listeners a glimpse into the depths of Graces soul. The album will include previously released singles such as ‘Euphoria’, ‘Fake Fine’, ‘Casper’, ‘Hate Me’ and ‘Not OK,’ each of which have resonated deeply with Grace’s fanbase, addressing mental health with sincerity and humour. Robert Grace has seen incredible success to date. International breakthrough, ‘Fake Fine’, has gained over 30 million streams to date, and has since been certified Platinum in Ireland. Similarly, ‘Not OK’ garnered 1 million streams in its first week alone, while latest single ‘Euphoria’ – a melodious tribute inspired by the acclaimed series of the same name after an intense binge- watching session – has seen big success on BBC Radio 1, as one of Clara Amfo’s Hottest Records of the Week, as well as being Molly King’s Future Bop. The track’s idea loosely revolves around Rues struggles with addiction, and involved collaboration with friends Ryan Mack and Jake Richardson, with additional production contributions from Jackson Foote (David Guetta, Zara Larsson, Jennifer Lopez). Having kicked off his career at the height of the pandemic, Robert Grace can already look back on an impressive track record. He has had more than half a billion combined views and streams across DSPs and socials, and in 2022, was named the most viewed Irish artist on TikTok, ahead of local heroes Niall Horan (ex-One Direction) and Dermot Kennedy. Robert Grace has supported shows for the likes of Picture This, Ryan Mack and Mother Mother. His recently announced headline tour will take place across Ireland, the UK and Germany starting June.
