British comedy drama written and directed by Max Newsom. The film follows 17-year-old Sigga (Kristín Audur Sophusdóttir) as she dreams of leaving her remote Icelandic fishing village and travelling to California to become a poet. However, when she meets American hitchhiker Nikki (Tom Maden) he convinces her to stay in Iceland and attend a poetry class run by Mr. Sonquist (Judd Nelson). Can Sigga realise her dream of becoming a poet by staying in her home country?
