L’amour à folie’ is Amadou & Mariam’s final album.
It was created entirely while Amadou was still with us, making this release especially meaningful and deeply emotional.
Amadou is gone, but the music and voices still resonate, an echo suspended beyond time and space.
It is Mariam’s wish, after the mourning period, to return to the stage with the new album that the couple composed and recorded together over the past seven years.
