1940s film noir directed by Fritz Lang. Stephen Neale (Ray Milland) has to find his way in war-torn England after spending two years in an asylum. Mistaken for someone else at a village festival, he inadvertently stumbles into a spy ring and soon finds himself being pursued across the country, unsure of who to trust.
