Description:

Long-lost 1973 album from unsung hero Graham Dee – a fixture of the London session scene in the ‘60s, and later prolific songwriter, producer and A&R Man. Released on vinyl for the very first time. Sounding like a long-lost film soundtrack, ‘Mr. Super Cool’ is highly evocative of its time and offers a fascinating insight into early ‘70s record-making. It was recorded at Sarm East, with arrangements by Gerry Shury. The album was recovered from an unmarked quarter-inch tape from a house clearance, after Graham himself had passed on an incomplete acetate to Acid Jazz founder Eddie Piller, who tells the whole story in the sleevenote to accompany the groovy layout. 1.
