Gregory La Cava writes and directs this screwball comedy starring Carole Lombard and William Powell. Set on Park Avenue in New York, socialite Irene Bullock (Lombard) wins a scavenger hunt at a party when she locates a lost man at a rubbish tip. Feeling sorry for Godfrey (Powell), Irene decides to give him a job as her butler but she soon finds herself falling for him.
