“Never Let Me Down” is David Bowie’s 17th studio album. Never Let Me Down showcases the best and the worst of the excessive production of the 80s. It doesn’t indulge in the pop that had dominated Tonight, but it doesn’t quite surpass Bowie’s edgier albums either. It fits nicely into the ranks of albums that are enjoyable to listen to, and while it doesn’t break any new ground, it’s appropriate for its time. Key tracks include Day-In Day-Out, Time Will Crawl and the title track.
