Recorded during the American and Australian parts of the 1993 Off the Ground tour, this is Paul’s fifth live album. Originally released in the same year, the album is known for the many clues embedded in the title and the cover, which all play a part in the ‘Paul Is Dead’ plot from the 60s. In addition to many classical Wings and Beatles tracks , covers of Roy Brown’s “Good Rockin ‘Tonight” and Leiber and Stoller’s “Kansas City”, Paul Is Live also offers a peek behind the scenes: three onsite improvised songs and exclusively for the album, all recorded during rehearsals at different locations during this tour.
