Based on Hiroshi Moris mystery novel, this animated season comprised of eleven episodes adapts the story of Saikawa (voice of Yasuyuki Kase) and Nishinosono (Atsumi Tanezaki) and their attempt to solve mysterious murders at a remote island laboratory. The episodes are: White Meeting, Azure Encounter, Red Magic, Rainbow-Colored Past, Silver Hope, Crimson Resolve, Gray Boundary, Purple Dawn, Yellow Blind Spot, Aster-Colored Truth and Colorless Weekend.
