Plus 4′ was originally released on Prestige in 1956 and features Sonny Rollins playing with the Cliff Brown/Max Roach Quintet.
Described as a particularly strong hard bop set, the album contains five cuts, including two Rollins originals ‘Pent-Up House’ and one of his best known pieces, ‘Valse Hot’.
This new edition of the album is released as part of the OJC Series on 180-gram vinyl pressed at RTI with all-analogue mastering from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio and a Stoughton Tip-On Jacket.
