Conceived as a soundtrack to German film ‘Moving Picture’ by Gerhard Richter and Corinna Belz, this is a recording of ‘Reich/Richter’ by legendary minimalist composer Steve Reich, performed by Ensemble Intercontemporain and conducted by George Jackson. After being performed on many occasions in 2019, this is the first time that the groundbreaking piece has ever been recorded.
