Tift Merritt has long been a torchbearer in americana.
To mark the 20th anniversary of her Grammy-nominated album ‘Tambourine’, Merritt returns with ‘Time and Patience’ – a companion piece of intimate re-recordings and new songs from Merritt’s Tambourine era.
Several of the recordings strip her beloved classic songs back to their raw essence – recorded at home, just voice and acoustic instruments, 20 years after it first made her a critical darling.
Others have never been heard before.
