Louis’s 2013 duet recording with pianist Jim Doherty.
In the fifty or so years since these two guys first met they worked on literally hundreds of musical projects together, while always promising that some day they’d record an album of guitar and piano duets. They did this with the encouragement of Daire Winston at Beechpark Studios in 2013. The titles recorded are all standards from the Great American Songbook.
Louis Stewart died in 2016 so TUNES is the final release of his career, captured by two friends in their autumn years, but still playing at a very high level
