Olivia Newton-John, Michael Beck and Gene Kelly star in this rock/pop musical, based on the 1947 film Down To Earth. A goddess by the name of Kira (Newton-John) is sent down from the heavens by Zeus to inspire a frustrated young artist (Beck) and has-been nightclub owner (Kelly) to realise their dreams in the form of a roller disco.
