Part musical breakthrough, part philosophical treatise, and part\u003cbr\u003eautobiography, it spotlights both his inherent musicality and his continued sharing of his personal\u003cbr\u003ejourney.\u003cbr\u003e“There's an awful lot about my life that I can't really express,” he explains.\u003cbr\u003e“Things that I find really difficult to understand,or to put into words. And those are the things I put into music.”\u003cbr\u003eThe album was recorded at Camden recording studio in Dublin over just five days with the help of\u003cbr\u003efriend and producer Eliot James (Bloc Party, Two Door Cinema Club, Petr Aleksander).\u003cbr\u003eThey doubletracked each piece on a Steinway grand piano and a felted upright piano,resulting in a sound that’s\u003cbr\u003eboth intimate and rich — a peaceful space for a certain kind of quietude.\u003cbr\u003eThe Place That Has Never Been Wounded will be accompanied by a book of the same name, due for\u003cbr\u003epublication in February 2026. Each track is named after one chapter, and each of the four acts — The\u003cbr\u003ePolaris Principles, Duchas, Metta, and The Place That Has Never Been Wounded — is titled after one of\u003cbr\u003eits core concepts.
