Born Ray Charles Robinson in Albany, Georgia, on September 23rd, 1930, Ray Charles was described by many writers as the "Father of Soul Music." This LP contains some of the most outstanding hits he ever made, among them such perennial classics as 'What'd I Say', 'Georgia on My Mind', 'Hit the Road, Jack', 'I Can't Stop Loving You,' 'Drown in My Own Tears', and 'Hallelujah I Love Her So'.
Possessing one of the most recognisable voices in American music, he defied categorisation and was equally at home with blues, soul, jazz, swing, country and more - in fact, any kind of music that took his fancy - all of which he distilled into his own unique and recognisable sound.

Refund and Returns Policy Faulty or defective items:
In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order. Non-defective items:
