Although Cannonball Adderley experimented with various styles and formats during his career, Cannonballs Bossa Nova [aka Cannonball Adderley and the Bossa Rio Sextet] continues to be an unusual work in his discography. This was not only true because of the Brazilian style to which the LP is devoted, but also because he isnt featured here in the company of his usual collaborators, nor of any other jazz musician. In fact, with the exception of the saxophonist, all the other players here are Brazilian. Sérgio Mendes combo travelled to New York for the sessions. In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order.
