Slipknot have long established themselves as one of the most influential and dominant forces in heavy music. Emerging from Des Moines, Iowa, in the late 1990s, the band quickly gained a reputation for their intense live performances, striking masked imagery, and uncompromising, brutal sound. Their debut album, Slipknot (1999), set the stage for a career that would see them achieve multiple platinum certifications, a Grammy Award, and widespread critical acclaim. With landmark albums such as Iowa (2001) and Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) (2004), Slipknot cemented their place at the forefront of modern metal, continuing to attract a passionate and dedicated global fanbase. To date, they have sold over 30 million records worldwide, including 12 million in the United States alone.
The tragic passing of bassist Paul Gray in 2010 and the departure of drummer Joey Jordison in 2013 left Slipknot facing an uncertain future. Yet, in 2014, they returned with their fifth studio album, .5: The Gray Chapter, a record that both honoured their past and forged a new path forward. Featuring new members Alessandro “V-Man” Venturella on bass and Jay Weinberg on drums, the album debuted at number one in multiple countries and was praised for its raw emotion and powerful songwriting, reaffirming Slipknot’s ability to evolve while maintaining their signature intensity.

Refund and Returns Policy Faulty or defective items:
In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. Please email us at info@towerrecords.ie to arrange the return of a defective item. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order. Non-defective items:
If, for some reason, a customer wishes to return an item that is not defective, we will accept the item and issue a refund within 14 days from the day you received the item.
