Following the success of their 2025 album Tuff Times Never Last and a headline show at O2 Academy Brixton, Kokoroko return with a raw, one-take session at Metropolis Studios.
The London-based afrobeat jazz septet delivers their signature grooves and wide-ranging influences—from 80s Brit-funk and R&B to West African disco—captured live straight to vinyl in their Jack Daniel’s Revive Live session. This four-track EP features ‘Higher’ from Get The Message, highlights from their second album, and a never-before-released cover of ‘Express Your Love’, offering a raw, one-take glimpse into the band’s evolving artistry.
Kokoroko: “Cutting live-to-vinyl is kind of like stamping time, you’re capturing this moment that’s not going to happen the same way again. We love vinyl, so it just felt right; doing it in the spirit of some of our favourite records.
We’d never played some of these songs like this before, it felt like the perfect way to capture them.
We also covered Sweet and Innocent’s ‘Express Your Love’ (such a gorgeous track) and it’s the first time recording Noushy on lead vocals with us.
She sounds amazing, and we really wanted to give her that shine.”.

Refund and Returns Policy Faulty or defective items:
In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. Please email us at info@towerrecords.ie to arrange the return of a defective item. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order. Non-defective items:
If, for some reason, a customer wishes to return an item that is not defective, we will accept the item and issue a refund within 14 days from the day you received the item.
