»Metallic KO« was first released in 1976 and was the fourth album by Iggy & The Stooges, a classic, memorable recording of the Stooges' confrontational final performance.
The Stooges hadn't been heard since »Raw Power« in 1973, and the sound of kamikaze Iggy, dodging eggs and glasses thrown by the Hell's Angels between new songs, won him a new audience in the still-young punk scene.
It defined Iggy as a punk icon, sold over 100,000 copies, and became the Stooges' best-selling album.
Now it has been reduced to the exact original cut that shocked and inspired so many.
During the remastering from the original tapes, an error in the original tape speed was discovered—now the album can be heard in its correct pitch!
As Lester Bangs said, "It's the only rock album I know where you can actually hear beer bottles hitting the guitar strings." The original 1976 album (remastered) on one CD with a 12-page booklet that tells the whole story.
At the time, it outsold the first three Stooges albums.
Iggy & The Stooges haven't played live for almost 30 years.

In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order. Non-defective items:
If, for some reason, a customer wishes to return an item that is not defective, we will accept the item and issue a refund within 14 days from the day you received the item.
