★To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Miles Davis' birth in 2026, the legendary album "Legrand Jazz" released in 1958 has been retitled "Michel Legrand meets Miles Davis", and based on the session photos of Miles and Legrand, new artwork has been adopted and specially released.
■ It is not included in the original edition, but also includes a commentary by Michel Legrand about this historic session.
Michel Legrand described the album as "his dream record". The musicians who took part in the historic session in New York in 1958 came together to record a unique arrangement of Legrand's jazz standards, an important piece that became a truly gorgeous lineup. Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Herbie Mann, Phil Woods, Eddie Costa, Bill Evans, Paul Chambers, Ben Webster, Hank Jones, Art Farmer, Donald Bird... At the time of its release in 1959, the album received rave reviews from critics. Since then, the album has undoubtedly left its mark on jazz history.

In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order.
