Experience the cinematic genius of Howard Shore like never before. In celebration of the legendary composer's 80th birthday this October, this monumental tribute album reimagines Shore's most iconic, Oscar-winning film scores and beyond through a stunningly intimate lens. Across a career spanning The Lord of the Rings, The Departed, Seven, and The Silence of the Lambs, Shore's masterpieces have amassed billions of streams. Now, these traditionally grand orchestral works are distilled into breath-taking, close-up portraits. Crafted by Dimitri Soudoplatoff, every refreshing new arrangement on this album has been personally validated by Howard Shore himself, who was directly involved in the production. Bringing these meticulous scores to life is pianist Aurélien Pontier, whose skilled, expressive touch guides listeners through a deeply evocative musical journey. Joined by violinist Nemanja Radulovic, soprano Natalie Dessay, and other guests, discover a rare, stripped-back look at the music that shaped modern cinema. This is Howard Shore's ultimate legacy, celebrated with the quiet majesty it deserves.
