This 62 track collection features in chronological order all the 45s that Billy Fury released from 1959 to his last Decca release in 1966.
Originally from Liverpool, a young Ronald Wycherley grabbed his chance on a Larry Parnes show (who soon rechristened him).
Fury was unique amongst British rockers of the time in that, unlike Cliff Richard, he wrote a lot of his own material.
Always a fantastic and popular live performer, Fury's chart career took off when he covered Tony Orlando's 'Halfway To Paradise'; he then went on a run of several UK Top 5 hits.
It was only the emergence of fellow Liverpudlians The Beatles that gradually brought his big hits to an end.
Always plagued with poor health, Fury died in 1983 aged just 43.

In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. Please email us at info@towerrecords.ie to arrange the return of a defective item. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order. Non-defective items:
If, for some reason, a customer wishes to return an item that is not defective, we will accept the item and issue a refund within 14 days from the day you received the item.
