Following their landmark third album '15', 'Black Butterfly' [2006] saw Buckcherry seize the momentum that they’d built up, further sculpting their sound into the larger-than-life hard rock that they’ve become renowned for.
‘Black Butterfly’ was co-produced by Marti Frederiksen [Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe] and Buckcherry's own Keith Nelson, and further enhanced their evolution into a band destined for the biggest of stages.
Furthermore, it spawned some of the band’s most beloved singles, “Don’t Go Away” and “Rescue Me”, as well as a riotous cover of Deep Purple's “Highway Star”.
The reissue sees the much sought after bonus track “Too Drunk...” released on vinyl for the first time, whilst the CD edition will feature an additional five bonus tracks, including two rare demos and three newly recorded acoustic versions of “Don't Go Away”, “Rescue Me” and “Rose”.
Upon its release, ‘Black Butterfly’ pushed Buckcherry to astounding commercial highs.
It cracked the Top 10 on both the US and Canadian album charts and was later certified Gold by Music Canada.
Now, as it is pressed on vinyl for the first time outside of their native US, ‘Black Butterfly’ will have yet another chance to spread its wings.
The reissue follows Buckcherry’s new album 'Roar Like Thunder', released in June 2025.
The band are touring extensively across the US this summer, following a tour in Canada with Steel Panther.

If the product is in its original condition and unopened, we will accept its return within fourteen days from the day you received the item. You will receive a full refund to the value of the item* *Applies to Online orders only
Refund and Returns Policy Faulty or defective items:
In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. Please email us at info@towerrecords.ie to arrange the return of a defective item. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order. Non-defective items:
If, for some reason, a customer wishes to return an item that is not defective, we will accept the item and issue a refund within 14 days from the day you received the item. If, for some reason, a customer wishes to return an item that is not defective, your item must be unused and in the same “as new” condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
