A Fantastic recording and great versions of many classic songs. These great analogue live recordings by Mac Rebennack aka Dr. John are from Tokyo, Japan, recorded in 1992. His accompanying band at that time was The New Island Social Club Band (featuring guitarist Hugh McCracken). The best New Orleans music! The Doctor pays homage to the great Ray Charles with some titles, even playing guitar on Let The Good Times Roll. 1992 was the year Dr John released his critically acclaimed, Grammy-winning traditional blues record “Goin' Back to New Orleans” which featured top-tier session players supporting his homecoming root-exploration.

In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible.
