By 1974, Kraftwerk had started to evolve from their krautrock experimental phase into the electronic pioneers we now recognize. Their live performances were becoming more structured and polished, though they were still a far cry from the synchronized, robotic shows of the 1980s.
By this time, the classic core of Ralf Hutter and Florian Schneider was firmly in place. Wolfgang Flur had joined on electronic percussion, a crucial element in their evolving sound and here Klaus Roder joins the line-up.
Homespun brings you this live radio broadcast from HR2 radio in Frankfurt to witness a band on the verge of a revolution, moving towards their fully electronic phase. This recording is still experimental but becoming more rhythmic, melodic, and futuristic--the early blueprint for the electronic music explosion of the late '70s and beyond.

Refund and Returns Policy Faulty or defective items:
In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order. Non-defective items:
