On the 2nd of June 1973, Led Zeppelin arrived at San Francisco's legendary Kezar Stadium for one of the most celebrated performances of their American tour
In front of a vast outdoor audience, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham delivered a monumental set that showcased the sheer power, imagination and improvisational brilliance that had made them the biggest rock band in the world.
Beyond the Misty Mountain presents the complete KMPX-FM radio broadcast across three discs, capturing Led Zeppelin at a spectacular moment in their career. The band were touring in support of Houses of the Holy, but the set reaches back through their catalogue, combining familiar favourites with extended performances that allowed each member to stretch out and explore.
From the thunderous opening numbers to Page's expansive guitar work, Jones's remarkable musicianship, Bonham's earth- shaking drumming and Plant's unmistakable vocals, this is Led Zeppelin in full flight -- spontaneous, powerful and utterly commanding.
The atmosphere of the stadium is palpable throughout, with the enormous San Francisco crowd providing the perfect backdrop to a performance that has long held legendary status among Zeppelin fans.

In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible.
