Tenor Madness is one the early classics albums by Sonny Rollins. Released in October 1956 on Prestige Records, it is most notable for its title track, a collaboration between Rollins and John Coltrane, the only known recording featuring the two giants of the tenor playing together.
Rollins and Coltrane had crossed paths and played on the same stage a few times since the early '50s. Through the rest of the decade, they came to admire each other. Both had undergone a period of great learning during their careers as members of groups led by Miles Davis.

In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order.
