Taylor Ashton returns with Charades, his third solo LP, out November 6, 2026 on Birthday Cake Records. Produced and co-written by Benjamin Lazar Davis (Cuddle Magic, Okkervil River, Maya Hawke), mixed by Jacob Blumberg and mastered by Philip Shaw Bova, the album sets Ashton’s warm baritone and inventive clawhammer banjo inside jagged experimental pop and classical harmony: atmospheric short stories about fidelity, friendship, destiny, and self-deception.
The guest list reads like a Brooklyn folk-scene summit: Maya Hawke, Theo Katzman (Vulfpeck), Aoife O’Donovan, and Ashton’s wife Rachael Price (Lake Street Dive) all sing on the record. “I’ve experienced Taylor Ashton’s voice as very honest… like a balm, no artifice in sight,” says Leslie Feist. Ashton has written and performed original songs for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and The New York Times.
Following The Romantic (2020) and Stranger to the Feeling (2023) — praised by No Depression and American Songwriter — Charades arrives with a full campaign: lead single “Last Time You Saw Me” August 19, “Susanna” September 30, and focus track “Watered Down” at release, backed by live studio session videos. Refund and Returns Policy

Refund and Returns Policy Faulty or defective items:
In the unlikely event you receive an item from us that is either defective or faulty, please let us know so we can arrange collection of the item and dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. Please email us at info@towerrecords.ie to arrange the return of a defective item. If goods are being returned due to being defective or an error on our behalf, we will refund delivery charges resulting from the return of the original order. Non-defective items:
If, for some reason, a customer wishes to return an item that is not defective, we will accept the item and issue a refund within 14 days from the day you received the item. If, for some reason, a customer wishes to return an item that is not defective, your item must be unused and in the same “as new” condition that you received it.
