As the voice of Modern Talking, Thomas Anders helped shape the duo’s international success alongside Dieter Bohlen throughout the 1980s. With global hits such as “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul” and “Cheri Cheri Lady,” Modern Talking conquered charts around the world and captivated millions of fans, from Europe to South America and Asia. To this day, their songs remain a fixture on dance floors, on radio and across streaming platforms. Their infectious melodies and distinctive sound have stood the test of time, continuing to captivate audiences decades after their original release. Following the release of new recordings of all six Modern Talking albums and the success of the acclaimed concert series, “THE BEST LIVE” now puts the unique energy of the live experience centre stage.
Together with producer Christian Geller, Thomas Anders has carefully evolved the legendary sound, bringing it into the present while preserving its unmistakable character. The combination of contemporary production, iconic melodies and the singer’s distinctive voice gives these classics renewed dynamism without losing sight of what made them so special in the first place. For Thomas Anders, this project is much more than a musical retrospective.
