"An authority on the genre's renaissance in the club world" - Time Out
Celebrating 10 years of shows from Glastonbury to Green Man, Moth Club in London to Yes in Manchester, Tate Modern and the Southbank Centre. "Undeniably at the forefront of a northern soul revival" - Vogue.
Featuring floor shakers and deep grooves from Candi Staton, Rita & the Tiaras, the Cavaliers, Eddie Parker, the Belles, Darrow Fletcher and many more. 2026 marks 10 years of London-based club night Deptford Northern Soul Club, started by childhood friends Will Foot and Lewis Henderson at Deptford's Bunker Club in southeast London. "When did northern soul get so southern?" - The Guardian. Priding themselves in having cultivated a community and culture at their club nights, they play some of the best music ever cut to wax. It might not be quite what you'd expect from a typical northern soul night, it isn't stepping back into the past, it's the music stepping forward into 21st century. "We're not interested in nostalgia - we love soul music because it's brilliant. It probably still resonates with young people because it has a message of something bigger than what's inside your own head - that what really matters resides in relationships with other people, not material things. We think that is beautiful" - DNSC. "Deptford Northern Soul Club have emerged as the new faces of northern soul" - Yuck. As featured in Alan Byron's documentary Northern Soul: Still Burning (2026). "By recontextualising northern soul in a modern context, they empower the genre to continuously evolve, imparting new meaning to younger, perhaps previously unaware audiences" - Pilot magazine .
